Margate FC have come up with a unique way for supporters to fund the cost of supporting their team for the up and coming 2013/14 season, as well as starting a fundraising initiative for the football club.
Voting slips will be available soon after entering the turnstiles at this Saturday's fixture against Met Police (April 13th). The result will be announced after the final home game of the season against Harrow Borough on April 27th. All supporters are eligible to take part so please take this opportunity.
There is a coach running to the Carshalton Athletic match on Saturday. The cost is £15 per seat (non-refundable) and the departure time from Hartsdown Park is 11.30am. To reserve your seat, call 01843 221769 or call into the club during office hours.
The committee at the last meeting discussed the possibility of holding two boot fairs each month on the first and third Sundays commencing in May. If the weather is kind and we are successful on say eight occasions we should be able to raise a decent amount of cash to hand to the club at the start of next season. However to ensure this success we require a few extra pairs of hands to help us through this tough schedule. If anyone feels they could assist on one or more Sunday mornings please speak to a committee member at one of the remaining games or contact Keith Lewis (Secretary) on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01843 226963.
As always your support is very much appreciated.
For any supporters wishing to travel to Saturday's Wingate and Finchley vs Margate match, there are just six seats remaining on the coach which will leave Hartsdown Park at 11am. Anyone wishing to book a seat should call 01843 221769 as soon as as possible.
The coach traveling to Margate's match away at Hampton & Richmond leaves Hartsdown Park at 11am on Saturday. There are a limited number of seats available so please contact 01843 221769 for more information or to reserve a seat.
There are only three match days remaining before the draw is held on which MISA are able to sell tickets. Therefore if anyone is able to sell tickets on our behalf in their workplace, pub or anywhere else we would be most grateful. Similarly if anyone should wish to donate a prize please let one of the committee know or bring it in on a match day or drop it off at the club office.
Many thanks for all your assistance.
There's still time to buy tickets for the two plays being shown at Birchington Village Hall this Friday, the event having been organised by UBlow (Mark Sandwell) to raise money for MISA. Full details are on the home page of the Margate FC web-site. Food and drink will be available and there is a bar on the premises. Please help to make this a successful evening.
