GTL Properties wins shirt sponsorship draw
|
Margate Football Club held the YOUR NAME ON OUR SHIRT draw yesterday (Saturday) at Hartsdown Park.
GTL Properties is the winner of Margate FC’s Shirt Sponsorship Draw. The company had two entries in the draw and we await a decision on which one of the companies that they own will be emblazoned across the shirts of the First Team and Academy side for the coming campaign. We will bring you this information as soon as we receive it.
C&J Promotions was originally drawn as the Shirt Sponsor but as this company is owned by Director Cliff Egan and his wife Jo, he asked that the draw be made again and GTL was the next name out of the bag.
UBLOW will see their name on the First Team and Academy player’s tracksuits for the 2010/11 season.
At the end of the main draw a special prize was drawn - not previously advertised – and that went to Seward Copyshop in St Peters who will see their name on the back of the First Team and Academy shirts.
In this innovative campaign from which the 40 donations raised £12,000 to help keep the BLUES in the BLACK, every company and individual who made a donation, received a prize. We will confirm the full list of awards over the next couple of days.
There was a big turnout for the draw, and everyone enjoyed a drink and food which was on offer. The club would also like to express its thanks to Meridian TV’s Amanda Piper who made the journey to Margate from Southampton via the Kent Show to do the draw.
