Legendary Margate stalwart of the glory years under Chris Kinnear returned to manage the side in February 2010.
Iain's playing career started of with Southend United where he made four Football League appearances after signing apprentice forms in the summer of 1987.
He then joined Dover Athletic, under Chris Kinnear, and was part of the squad that saw the Crabble side win promotion to the Conference.
After a testimonial in 1997 he joined Margate, once again under Chris Kinnear and over the next six and a half years he won two promotions, two Kent Senior Cups, one Southern League Cup Final and played in the First Round of the FA Cup live on Sky TV.
After a brief spell at Chelmsford City he took over as Player Manager at Great Wakering Riovers in February 2005, guiding them to their highest-ever finish, 13th in Ryman North, in 2006/07, as well as reaching the Senior County Cup Final during his five-year reign.
