Lloyd joined Margate in the summer, after finishing joint top scorer, with ex-Margate striker James Pinnock, at Maidstone United last season with 15 goals.

Started off with Brentford, making 4 appearances before injury forced him out of professional football. Played in Conference Premier for Farnborough, Woking and Crawley Town and had a spell with Llanelli in the Welsh Premier League before joining Maidstone at the start of the 2008/09 season.
