Louis is 23 years old and the longest serving player currently at Hartsdown and was Captain last season until injury forced him to miss almost the entire campaign.

He originally joined Margate in the summer of 2006 after impressing in pre-season. Louis started his career at Ramsgate before moving on to Sittingbourne in October 2003. He later played for Whitstable where he helped the reserves win the Kent League Division 2 title during 2004/05 and spent the 2005-06 season at Deal Town.

In his first two seasons with Gate Louis has demonstrated increasing maturity in the heart of the Margate defence.

Although Louis was not announced in the retained list he proved his fitness and returned to the side in August.
