Steve Beeks is a UEFA A-licensed coach who joined Margate as Mark Butler's number two in late October. Steve runs the Steve Beeks Soccer School and is an ex-professional footballer, who played in the Football League with Aldershot.
Steve started in management at Cove with great success winning league and cup honours. Appointed player-manager at Fleet in October 2001 successfully steering the club to promotion from the Wessex League to the Dr Martens.
Steve`s experience and versatility gave the team options in central defence or midfield. Previously played for Aldershot, Staines and Basingstoke, he joined Winchester City in October 2002 after resigning from his player-manager`s role at Fleet.
Returned to management with Ryman Division One South side Molesey in October 2003.
Resigned along with Manager Mark Butler in February.
